Professional Experience

Zhitang Shu is a partner at Merits & Tree. Prior to establishing Merits & Tree, Mr. Shu was a partner at the Beijing Commerce and Finance Law Offices.

Mr. Shu has very rich experience in the securities capital market. In the past ten years, he has been practicing the securities capital market business before and after IPO. He acts as a lead partner, project leader and host attorney in almost all types of securities transactions, including IPO, SME Board and GEB listing, listing on NEEQ, refinancing of listed companies(including private placement, convertible bonds, corporate bonds, short financing, non-public debt financing tools, etc.), major asset restructuring, backdoor, acquisitions and mergers, witnessing of off-internet issuance, general counsel of listed companies, the regulation and compliance of listed companies, the establishment of private equity investment funds and their investment projects, as well as cross-border transactions. He has served both as a lawyer for issuers and as a lawyer for sponsor organizations. In the process of providing legal services to many proposed listed companies and listed companies, his services are well received by customers because of his responsible professionalism and high quality and efficient professional service, and he has established good and happy cooperative relations with various intermediary organizations.

He is currently serving as the independent director of Beijing Lanshan Technology Co., Ltd. and Beijing Weizhen Creative Technology Co., Ltd.
