Tao Jiang is a partner at Merits & Tree. Prior to establishing Merits & Tree, Mr. Jiang was a partner at King & Wood Mallesons and Commerce & Finance Law Offices.

Mr. Jiang has rich experience in the areas of corporate listing, PE/VC investment and financing, private equity fund establishment and compliance. Mr. Jiang has assisted dozens of enterprises to successfully list on the domestic and foreign capital markets, including Shanghai, Shenzhen, Hong Kong, the United States, Germany and Singapore; and has completed hundreds of investment and financing projects on behalf of private equity investment institutions or start-ups, the industries of which cover TMT, medicine and medical institutions, education and training, entertainment and sports, high-end manufacturing, consumption and so on. In the field of investment funds, Mr. Jiang has helped the government guide funds and market-oriented FOFs to invest large quantum of funds and has assisted private equity management companies to set up a number of private equity investment funds, fund types of which include VC Funds, listed companies BFs, cross-border BFs.
