Matthew Ma is a partner at Merits & Tree. Prior to joining Merits & Tree, Mr. Ma worked at Zhong Lun Law Firm, Global Law Office, and other prestigious firms.

Mr. Ma has rich experience in the industry of TMT, e-commerce and pharmaceutical and healthcare. With such knowledge of industries, he is capable of solving complex legal issues for clients and safeguard their interests. Matthew regularly assists multinational companies with the legal aspects of their IP protection and commercial transactions and litigations, including representing clients in commercial dispute resolution, designing enforcement strategies for protection of their IP, providing strategic consultation on their business in China. Matthew also handles IP due diligence for various clients in both domestic and cross-border transactions. He has represented a number of Global 500 companies in solving their legal issues in China.
