Songsong GAO is a partner with Merits and Tree Law Offices (Shenzhen). Prior to joining Merits & Tree, Ms. Gao served as an associate at King and Wood Mallesons, senior associate in Han Kun Law Offices.

Ms. Gao’s legal practice focuses on venture capital and private equity investments, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate restructuring. She has represented many start-ups and fast-growing companies covering a wide spectrum of industries such as smart manufacturing, TMT (Technology, Media and Telecom), entertainment, pharmaceuticals, green energy and mining.  Through her years of firm dedication to her legal profession, Ms. Gao has accumulated extensive practical experience in complex domestic and cross-border transactions.
