Professional Experience

Ms. Ying Hui is a partner at Merits & Tree. Prior to that, Ms. Hui practiced law at Shanghai offices of both leading international law firm and Chinese law firm. She also worked in-house as general counsel for a listed company for nearly 10 years and has extensive experience in corporate mergers and acquisitions and foreign direct investments.

Ms. Hui possesses extensive experience in representing clients for cross-border M&A transactions, involving jurisdictions such as Canada, France, Australia, Chile, Netherlands, and Korea. Ms. Hui has provided legal services to multinational corporations in establishing wholly owned subsidiaries or joint ventures in China. Further, she has provided legal services to leading companies in the industries of wind energy, foundry, retailing, and new energy materials.
