Mr. Hong LU is a partner at Merits & Tree. Prior to joining Merits & Tree, Mr. Lu was a partner at Hu Xin Law Firm, Shanghai Zhengjun Law Firm, and East & Concord Partners.
Mr. Lu has been focusing his practice on legal services in real estate and infrastructure since 2000 and has accumulated extensive experience therein. He is especially expert in dispute resolution in risk control and dispute resolution in connection with construction projects, including but not limited to work such as strategy making, business negotiation, identification of potential risks and provision of resolutions. Mr. Lu was one of the draftsmen of the Operating Guidelines for Lawyers Handling Construction Projects Cases issued by All China Lawyers' Association, has been awarded with the Highly Recommended Lawyer of Engineering Industry by ENR/Construction Times for multiple times, and was rewarded “litigation star” of 2022 of construction and real estate industries by Benchmark Litigation. Mr. Lu also serves as arbitrator at several arbitration institutions where he heard and ruled on numerous cases on construction projects. He has substantial theoretical understanding and practical experience.
